About: My name is Kevin Olmedo and I'm a photographer/ show booker in Tacoma, Washington. The piece I'm entering today is from a show back in  December featuring a Hardcore PUNK band called Dry Socket from Portland, OR. For this shot I switched my flash to the rear curtain sync setting to try and capture Dani's (singer) energy. With so much movement already happening I simply had to stand still and let the camera record the motion but with an active pit behind me and hit to the side this was my best attempt lol. I read there's priority for BIPOC photographers so for further consideration I am brown and proud!
