Punk rock in the 1970s as told by photographer Leee Black Childers

Leee Black Childers saw it all in the underground NYC scene. He took the first photographs of Lou Reed, partied at Max's Kansas City, was part of the Stonewall Riots, and went on tour with just about every famous band at the time.

In the early 2000s, we sat down with him in his apartment for an interview.
